Yarn/Wire is a 501 (c)3 charitable organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
In addition to cash donations, have you considered a gift to Yarn/Wire through a Donor-Advised Fund? The tax deductions for contributing to a DAF are immediate, but you must act by December 31 for the current tax year. If you already have one established, you can simply make a grant recommendation to Yarn/Wire through your DAF and contact Laura Barger at laura@yarnwire.org to notify us of your gift.
