Join us for an evening at Miller Theatre’s popup series as we present Sarah Hennies’ first work for Yarn/Wire: Primers, originally commissioned for the 2017 edition of Yarn/Wire Currents.Scored for two pianos and 2 vibraphones, the 35-minute work places the 2 duos’ intrinsic aural personalities under a close lens, occasionally pulling back the focus to reveal a stunning complexity of timbre. The concert is free, and there are drinks available prior to the performance.
